I actually got to see him (a couple of times) at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, KS. UNFUCKINBELIEVABLE!!! He's really funny on stage too.

He is a very good guitarist...technicly one of the bests
But sometimes he can't lay some emotion in songs which really need it
(I'm thinking of "I Still Can't Say Goodbye" ...compare the version of Chet Atkins (where everybody lay in tears) to the one of Tommy...The only remark I have on tommy...
